Hello, if married filing jointly and claiming an adult child who is disabled (all on SSD) should we have only received $4,200 for 3rd stimulus? (1400x3). Adult child also received 1,400 to their account in addition to the 4,200 we received. How do we rectify this? It isn’t asking me for their payment information in TurboTax and adult child doesn’t file their own taxes as they only have the SSD which in under 9k a year. Do I only enter the $4200 when it asks about third payment? We have all 3 letters. 2100+2100+1400=5600…..

Unlike the first two payments, the third payment was not restricted to children under 17. Eligible individuals received a payment based on all of their qualifying dependents claimed on their return, including older relatives like college students, adults with disabilities, parents and grandparents. You will only enter the amounts for yourself and spouse, you do not have to report the $1400 on your daughter's letter.
