Son is legally blind. Purchased esight glasses to help with vision. Cost 13000.00. Can these be deducted on medical.

Yes, any medically necessary expense is deductible.  He would need to be your dependent on your tax return.

To enter medical expenses in TurboTax, go to:

Federal Taxes , then

Deductions & Credits

Click Show More next to Medical

Click Start/Revisit box next to Medical Expenses.

Keep in mind the following about deducting your medical expenses:

• You don't get the benefit if you are taking the standard deduction.
