I have some stock that would have long tern gains on it. I will need some of that money after the first of the year.
From what we expect from Biden, tax wise, should I sell some of it before the end of the year or wait until after Jan 1 as I need the money?
Tks, take care - stay safe - jb

No one can tell you what changes may be made to the tax code. Biden has mentioned increasing the capital gains tax on those with incomes over one million.
Ah, well, at 1 mil I don't have to worry about that.
Tks, I do appreciate it. - jb
If your income was down this year because of Covid, that should put you in a lower tax bracket, possibly reducing the capital gain tax.
