Scedule 8812 (Child Tax Credit) Error

The advance child tax credits made it weird for everyone this year. There are some parents who received advance child credit payments in 2021 who are not claiming children in 2022. So the 8812 is automatically generated for all taxpayers. Make sure that you answer "no" when it asks if you received any advance child tax credit payments and then it won't matter that it is there.
