You have a casualty loss involving personal use property in a declared disaster area.

Thank you for the response. Do you know how I would go about claiming when filing taxes? Is there a separate form I need to file on?

You can follow the instructions in What if I have property that was lost or damaged (a casualty loss)? This will guide to add the correct form 4684 for your casualty loss resulting from a declared disaster. You will also want to refer to the links from @tagteam to help you fill in the form.
