Recovery rebate credit 2021

We did not receive the 3rd stimulus check in 2021 due to 2020 AGI being above the cutoff.  Married filing jointly - 2021 Income was $170,000 but our 2021 AGI is now $144,000 that i believe is below the lower limit.  Desktop Turbo Tax is not prompting to ask the question if we received the stimulus payment and is not entering anything into 1040 line 30.  How do I apply the rebate or am I missing something that disqualifies us?

Verify that your 2021 AGI on Form 1040 Line 11 is under $160,00 and you are filing as Married Filing Jointly.

Using the desktop editions, click on Forms.  When in Forms mode open the Form 1040

Using the online editions -

You can view your Form 1040 at any time using the online editions. Click on Tax Tools on the left side of the online program screen. Click on Tools. Click on View Tax Summary. Click on Preview my 1040 on the left side of the screen.

Ok.  I was thinking AGI was same as taxable income (line 15) but AGI is basically the same as income (line 1 and line 11)

Recovery rebate credit 2021

In 2020 our adjusted gross income was 180,366.00 which disqualified us for a stimulus pymt, however IRS STATED WE WOUL D BE ELIGIBLE FOR THE RECOVERY REBATE CREDIT WHEN WE FILE TAXES FOR 2021 WE ARE MARRIED FILING JOINTLY.  TURBO TAX DOES NOT OFFER THIS QUESTION AND THE ADJUSTMENT IS TO BE ON 1040.  WHAT IS YOUR RECOMMENDATION ?

Is your AGI for 2021 below $160,000?  If it is not then you do not qualify for the third stimulus at all.  If it is between 150 and 160 then you qualify for a partial payment and if it is below 150 then you qualify for the full amount.
