Hi
I received an email that I need to make some correction on form 4562 of my 2020 return and it is as follows;
At TurboTax, we are committed to helping you get your maximum refund by ensuring your return is filed with 100% accuracy. Unfortunately, we identified an issue that affects the accuracy of your 2020 tax return within Rental Properties and Royalties (Sch E).
You will need to follow the steps in the link below to correct your return before you file by the deadline of April 15, 2021.
What should I do in this situation, do I have to input depreciation details manually?
You'll need to sign in or create an account to connect with an expert.
Did you do as the email said ? Did you read and follow the instructions yet ? If you have issues then follow the directions to contact TT support.
No, because the instructions are complicated
There should be a phone number for support in this matter ... if not call the general help line :

Your options are to either re-enter all of the assets, or to completely start over and transfer your file again from 2019 (and then re-enter everything else for this year). Or have your tax returns done elsewhere.
