I paid my 2023 real estate taxes in January 2024, can I claim this real estate tax payment on my 2023 tax return?

What happens in 2024 goes on a 2024 return. 2023 is being done now.

Real estate taxes paid in 2024 can only be entered on a 2024 tax return, regardless of the tax year for the property taxes.
