Real Estate Commissions Income on Schedule C AND 1099

I use Quickbooks Self-Employed to track all of my real estate income and expenses. This is transferred into TurboTax on my Schedule C, including the commissions income that is also included on my 1099. If I leave my income on my Schedule C and enter my 1099 income, aren't I double-counting my commissions income? Do I just do a QB entry removing the amount on my 1099 before transferring into TurboTax?

Yes, you should add the 1099 forms into the program so that the IRS can match them, therefore yes, you should remove that income from the Quickbooks file before transferring to TurboTax (or just edit the income for the amount on the 1099 in the TurboTax software)
