This issue seems to have happened before, and it is being addressed. The workaround is to record all of the medical information that you had previously entered into the program.
Then go in and delete the file for Medical Expense Worksheet.
- On the menu bar on the left that shows.
- My Info
- Federal
- State
- Review
- File
- Select Tax Tools
- On the drop-down select Tools
- On the Pop-Up menu select Delete a Form
- This will give you all of the forms in your return.
- Scroll down to the form you want to delete.
- Medical Expense Worksheet (Under Schedule A).
- Select the Form
- Click on Delete.
- Always use extreme caution when deleting information from your tax return. There could be unintended consequences.
Now go back to the Medical input section and re-enter your numbers in the exact order as they display in the interview.
