My tax refund was adjusted $900 and I received a letter from the IRS stating an error from the Recovery Rebate credit on my return. I don't see where any of the errors would apply? I have all social security numbers listed correctly, the last names are all the same as mine, all of my kids are 16 or under and my adjusted gross income is less than $75,000. I can't get ahold of anyone at the IRS when I try to call, any suggestions?
Thank you!

Basically you said you did not get all of the stimulus payments you were due and the IRS says you are wrong ...
If you claimed the Recovery Rebate Credit on your 2020 tax return but the IRS changed it they will send you an explanation letter. Please see IRS letters explain why some 2020 Recovery Rebate Credits are different than expected for details.
If you received Notice 1444 in the mail but have not received your payment as mentioned in the notice, then you need to request a trace to be able to claim the Recovery Rebate Credit on your 2020 tax return. Please see How do I request a payment trace to track my first or second Economic Impact Payments?
I also received a nice letter from the IRS saying that I owe them some cash, when TT said I should have received some. After studying the IRS letter, I determined that the problem was in the 2021 Recovery Rebate Credit Worksheet.
My AGI was clearly above the Married Filing Jointly limit.
The worksheet was correct down to line 9. Then in line 10 when it asks if line 9 is above the filing status limit. TT checked the NO box, instead of the YES box. Then went on to calculate the rebate. The IRS apparently didn't think that was appropriate.
I don't know if the TT folks check here, but there is clearly an error in the worksheet calculations.
TurboTax processes all information entered by the client. This is a self prep system. This year required that clients use the letters 6419 and 6475 to enter information about amounts received for Stimulus and Advance Child Tax credits. If the entries are incorrect, the IRS makes the adjustment on their end because they have that information already.
