Job Related Expense / Home Office Deduction

Since they eliminated the job related expenses/home office deduction for the Federal return, what about the state return? Specifically Maryland? Does Maryland have this deduction and if so, where do you put that info since the Federal will not allow you to enter that info if you don't qualify for federal? Make sense?

Job Related Expense / Home Office Deduction

No , Maryland does not have unreimbursed employee expenses as a tax deduction, except in a few specific  instances which do not include the Home Office Deductions-

Unreimbursed vehicle travel expenses for: 1. A volunteer fire company; 2. Service as a volunteer for a charitable organization whose principal purpose is to provide medical, health or nutritional care; AND 3. Assistance (other than providing transportation to and from the school) for handicapped students at a Maryland community college
