How do you determine the date you established your tax home in a foreign country where you have a student/ temporary resident visa but do pay taxes on all income earned?

If you are a US citizen or green card holder and have a temporary resident visa in another country, you would have established your tax home when you started working overseas.  Your tax home is where you work or your regular place of business.
