Can't override amounts previously entered in medical expenses.

Using downloaded Turbo Deluxe. I had previously entered some medical expense data that I need to revise. Fields that are empty previous to today, I can add amounts and change them. But fields that were filled in a few days ago do not allow changes.

I can change the Medical Expense Total in the forms, but I want to be able to correct the components, such as the Prescriptions and Doctors fields.

Thoughts?

Try clicking on the amount of the medical expense component in Forms mode on the Medical Expenses Worksheet.  This should bring up a box with Supporting Details.  Try clearing out any descriptions and/or the amount in that supporting detail dialogue box.  Then, go back and reenter the amounts in the correct component fields.

It's still a problem in TT 2022. If what you enter initially isn't big enough to affect your taxes, revisiting it happily declares that and there isn't an opportunity to change the entries without going to forms. Clearing the form didn't help in my case. Rather, I just entered medical expenses in the form.
