I rent a space in an office suite. Why does my tax return has it as i rent the entire building?

You rent 100% of the space you use ... no where does it say it is 100% of the total building it is in ... and do not enter the office as an asset since you cannot depreciate it.

If you are filing a Sch C then you should NOT be using the office in home section at all.
