Property taxes under my partner's name and they are a dependent

My partner currently does not work, and we are not married. I pay for our home and my mother's home. The mortgage for my mother's home is actually under my partner's name.  My partner lives with me and our daughter. I am claiming my partner as well as my mother on my taxes. Can I claim the property taxes on my tax return since I am claiming my partner, and the property taxes are under her name?

You can deduct property taxes that you pay for your a real estate you own.  Since the property isn't under your name, then you can't claim the property taxes.
