I am entering in my property tax information for my state taxes (Illinois), I am using the Standard Deduction for Federal so the property tax does not come into play for those.
After I answer yes to the first four questions regarding if I have lived in state, primary residence, paid taxes, etc and entered in which county I lived in as well as the property PIN, I come to the screen to enter Property Taxes Paid and Amount not on Principal Residence.
I enter in the property tax amount and have left both the Amount Not on both blank and entered in a zero and when completing the state taxes it continues to loop back to Needs Review for this credit.
PIN on property is correct, county is correct, no other property is owned and so therefore nothing would need to be entered on Amount Not On Principal Residence?
