Owner occupied duplex depreciation.

Owner occupied duplex depreciation.  Throughout the rental section, I manually prorated all the expenses, utilities, etc for the rental unit. 52% based on square footage.  In the depreciation section, do I input the full cost of the duplex and the business percent as 52?  Or input 52% of the duplex cost with the business percent as 100?

Owner occupied duplex depreciation.

Either way should give the same results.

For no particular reason, I think I would enter 52% of the duplex cost with 100% business usage.
