Hello!
How are you handling the overtime wages with the new law? I have a w2 that has an amount in box 14 along with words "flsa wages" but it doesnt specify if it's actually overtime or not. All wages including overtime appears to be in box 1. Are you getting details over your overtime wages from your employer then taking the premium by the number of hours over 40 worked in 2025? Any guidance from you experts in the community on this new law would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

Yes, some users don't have Overtime broken down on their W-2; however, they did find it on their last pay info for the year as a YTD amount. If you can't find the amount of your Box 1 that was for overtime, you may need to contact your employer for the amount of your OT pay.
Make sure after you enter your W-2 to check the box for 'Overtime' on the next screen 'Let's check for other situations.' When you enter the amount of OT you were paid, TurboTax calculates the deduction for you.
Here's more info on the Overtime Deduction.
