Do I have to be 62 to deduct medical/dental expenses?

No there is no age requirement to deduct medical expenses.

Medical/dental expenses can be deducted as an itemized deduction on Schedule A.

If you do not itemize your deductions and take the standard deduction then you can not deduct these medical/dental expenses.

The 2019 standard deductions are $12,200 if you are single or use married filing separate status $24,400 if you are married filing a joint return and $18,350 if you file as head of household.
