Newspaper subscription as business expense

Hello. I am a self-employed public relations consultant.  Can I include my subscriptions to newspapers that I read for work, like the Washington Post and the NY Times, as a business deduction?  And, if so, in what Turbotax category do I list them on the "Business Income & Expenses" page? Thanks in advance!

Yes you can include these expenses.  The most likely category would be dues and subscriptions.

You may deduct all expenses that are  ordinary and necessary.
