Boy Scouts of America is a qualified charitable organization. Contributions made to the organization would be deductible, but scouting dues or membership fees would not be deductible. See link below.

For the last few years, Turbotax has suggested I take the standard deduction which I have. The system also deducted my charitible contributions. What's different now?
