My mortgage servicer changed during the year and I only have a 1098 from the one that took over, what do I do?
My 1098 shows that I paid $810 in interest, but I pay $270 a month in interest according to my statements so I know this number only covers the amount of time they serviced the mortgage. I no longer have any information from the previous servicer. Should I just extrapolate how much interest I paid to them based on my monthly statements?

1098s are sent to you and the IRS. They will match your tax return up with the documents they receive.
You should try your best to get the correct information from the prior servicer.
If that proves unsuccessful use what ever information you have, but expect that you may have to prove at your deduction to the IRS.
