My daughter does not get a state standard deduction using Turbo Tax. Why not?

My daughter uses Turbo Tax and does not get a standard deduction from the state? Why is that?

Please clarify. Is your daughter your dependent? What state are you referring to?

There are several reasons why she may not have received the standard deduction  You will need to provide information on her age, is she a dependent on someone else's return, is she filing to report unearned income?  Please provide more information.
