Medical Expense deduction

I have 16279 showing as Medical Expenses when I did not enter any expenses.  It is giving me a deduction of 5309 and I do not know why that is.  I pay Market Place Insurance premiums.

Medical Expense deduction

The premiums are automatically transferred to the medical expense section as itemized deductions when you enter your 1095-A Health Insurance Marketplace Statement. When you itemize your deductions, you can deduct only the part of your medical and dental expenses that exceeds 7.5% of the amount of your adjusted gross income on Form 1040 or 1040-SR, line 11.

If you are self employed, The Marketplace premiums you paid are deductible as self-employment health insurance
