Line 9 is blank on my W-2 so did i take standard deduction or itemized? i dont know which to click?

What do you mean that Line 9 is blank on your W-2? Entries on your W-2 have nothing to do with whether or not you take the Standard Deduction on your 1040. If you are being offered the choice in the program, choose the one that gives you a bigger deduction.

Look at Line 12 of your 1040 when complete to see the deduction on the tax form.

Box 9 of the W-2 is unused. The W-4 has no line 9. Line 9 of form 1040 is your total income.

What is your question?

In '22 I took the standard home office depreciation. For '23, I'm taking the itemized deduction, however, it is asking for last years depreciation amt which don't have?
