Letter 6475

TurboTax asks for information from Letter 6475, but I never received Letter 6475.

What should I do?

Did you receive the 3rd stimulus payment in the March - May 2021 timeframe?  Check your bank account for a deposit of $1,400 times the number of people on your 2020 tax return from the IRS.

As far as I know, we received all 3 stimulus payments. (This is, however, tentative - tomorrow, I will begin examining all of my bank statements for 2020 and 2021.)

However, you did not answer my question - what should I answer TurboTax? Remember, I never received Letter 6475.

@hendis4289 TurboTax indicates that you should have received a particular amount and if you have verified that is the amount you received, then all you need to do is answer Yes.

Otherwise answer No and enter the amount you did receive to include 0 (zero)

Many taxpayers have not yet received the 6475 letter and many who have just threw it away.  So entering what you actually received satisfies this requirement.
