Left over energy credits

In 2015 I purchased energy efficient windows and a new roof. I think I was only able to deduct a certain amount. Am I able to carry over the leftover amount in this year's taxes?? Thank you.

Does anybody know where I can check the status of an earned income tax credit return? IRS sent me a notice in the mail. Had me fill out a form to see if I qualified.

For the EIC and the CTC on my 2024 taxes, it only lists my 4 yr old and 1 of my twins as qualifying. Why wouldn’t I get credit for the other twin as well?
