Last summer for a mission trip we paid travel/medical insurance for the entire team. Can I deduct the total amount or just the amount that applied to my wife?

We paid the travel insurance premium for a 5 member team for a mission trip to Africa last year. We were never reimbursed for any of the expense. Can I deduct the total cost of the premium or just the portion that applied to my wife?

As far as I understand, you can only deduct the amount applied to your family. Also, refer IRS publication 502 for more details.
