I know the job-related expenses deduction was eliminated as a federal deduction, but while filing using TurboTax tells me that some state's are still honoring the job-related deductions, but doesn't specify which states. I looked at California's FTB site which specifies a few deductions they're still honoring that were removed but doesn't specifically identify job-related expenses. Does anyone know if they still are?

California does not conform to any federal tax law unless state lawmakers vote to conform. They did not vote to conform.
For Miscellaneous Itemized Deductions subject to a 2% floor (which includes job-related expenses) anything that was deductible on a California return last year is still deductible. The 2018 Form 540 Schedule CA can be found here: Franchise Tax Board Part II, Line 19 is used for "Unreimbursed employee expenses - job travel, union dues, job education, etc."
aWhat about moving expenses are they still deductible in California?
I cant find how to provide this info in the state taxes section. Can you please help?
What about "home office" expenses in CA (unreimbursed, for convenience of employer)
Thanks
