You can go back to your return and delete the adoption credit:
- Open your return.
- Go to the the adoption credit section:
- TurboTax Online/Mobile: Go to adoption credit.
- TurboTax Desktop: Search for adoption credit and select the Jump to link.
- Edit the adoption credit
- Delete it
If this doesn't resolve your issue, you might need to clear your cache (that is, remove these temporary files). A full or corrupted cache can cause problems in TurboTax. You can try these steps if you are using the online version:
- Clearing your Cache and Cookies
- Using a different browser
- Opening an Incognito Window
