You should enter the foreign wages in the section you mentioned Foreign Earned Income and Exclusion. Even if you don't qualify for the exclusion, the wages you enter there will be reflected on line 1 of your federal form 1040, where they belong.
You can view your form 1040 while working in the online version of TurboTax to check on this by using the following menu tabs in TurboTax:

Thank you for your response and help.
As I work independently in the US while getting paid from another country, I was sent this link from another expert, with some steps on what form someone in my position needs to fill out, which in this case is Misc.

So I filled in the Misc. form. I now would like to delete the self-employment income and expenses form, as that is doubling up the income I had, which is incorrect. Attached is a screenshot of the forms I have (ignore the 1099-NEC, I'm going to try and delete that as well).
