Is there any tax deductions for purchasing a motorcycle ?

You can deduct sales tax and property tax on the motorcycle. 

1. Federal Taxes Deductions and Credits
2. Scroll down to Cars and Other Things You Own , choose Personal Property Taxes
3. Then, scroll down further to Estimates and Other Taxes Paid and select Sales Tax to enter sales tax paid on the purchase.

However, both deductions are part of your itemized deductions. If you are not itemizing, the deductions may not make a difference on your tax return.  Also, when you itemize, you are deducting sales tax or state income tax; again, your state income tax (withheld,paid) may be much larger than your sale tax, in which case, the deductions will not impact your tax return.
