For 2018 tax returns that will be filed in April 2019. (Not 2017 returns We file this coming April 2018)

@VolvoGirl  Good clarification.  On a semi-related note, I've seen news articles that states the current bill allows for a 7.5% floor for Medical expenses for 2018 and 2019,when they really mean 2017 returns (filed in 2018) and 2018 returns (filed in 2019). Of course, nothing is final yet.

2018, assuming it passes in the present form and is signed into law.  The limitation is for property taxes and state income tax, to be broken out anyway desired.
