So I am concerned with my Tax return. If I stated yes, to the natural disaster question, but did not provide any additional information anywhere will my tax return be affected in any way?
@Natalie17 Possibly. Natural disasters are things like earthquakes, hurricanes, floods, wildfires, and the like and you wish to claim a causality loss. If you have not experienced these then go to tax tools>tools>delete a form. Check the list of forms for Form 4684. If you see this form, delete it. If you don't see it, then it's ok and won't affect your taxes in anyway.
If you don't delete it and if it is there, then you will receive an error message in the review stage that will prevent you from filing the return because there is information missing in the form.
