Is a 2018 Avalon Hybrid eligible for the energy-efficient tax credit?

Toyota mfgs and dealers are giving me the run-around, and I can't find an answer on the IRS.gov website..

Unfortunately, no, the Toyota Avalon Hybrid does not qualify for the federal electric car credit this year.
