In the review, TT is asking for info for a "Schedule E Worksheet (Untitled)" but I don't know which property it wants the info for. Can I go to the worksheet itself?

I have 3 rental properties and the only identifier on the worksheet they show on the "Check This Entry" page is "Schedule E, Page 1, Copy 2, Property B" and I don't know which property it's referring to.  Also, the type of info being requested (City, Zip Code, Location, Property Description, etc.) has already been input for each property.

Are you using  Turbo Tax online rather than the software product? If so, property B generally refers to the property you entered second.

if you preparing your return in the software, you can look at your schedule E in the forms mode and look on lines 3 and 4. This will show you a listing of the properties and you can easily identify which ones are which.

if you are unsure, you can contact tax support at 1-800-446-8848 and ask for them to order a diagnostic and they can quickly identify which property is listed as property B. I agree that this should have been already entered on the forms since you supplied this information.  Sometimes though, this information does not populate correctly.

I'm using TT premier online and having the same glitch. Mine also says property B strangely enough. Since I'm in the 11th hour here I'm going to enter the address of my 2nd listed rental property and hope for the best. TT engineers should get on this glitch though! Thanks for this forum and my ability to search out an answer.

Well, it turns out that I must have created a new rental property by accident, hence it wanting all the descriptive info (address, property name, etc). It said "Untitled" because I had not inputted any info for it originally. I vaguely remember clicking on, maybe, new rental property (or something like that) when I meant to click on new asset. Guess it made a "sheet" for this non-existent property.

I discovered the problem and my mistake when I was at the very end of my taxes and TT suggested I review my personal info (name, SS#, etc). The whole return was there to scan through and I saw the new "B" property and that I now had two properties by the same name. I went back to my rents & royalties and deleted this duplicate property that I made by mistake. Very nice to see my whole return in the format that the IRS will see it in - and look it over for anything that might be amiss.
