So I already did 2016 taxes and we noticed that I didn't put any mortgage interest in for 2014  it was about 9500.00 what is the best thing for me to do and will I see any of this money

If you paid your mortgage interest in 2014, then you can only claim it if you amend your 2014 tax year return.  You cannot include it on this year's return
