If I was given a "certification for no information reporting on the sale of a primary residence", do I have to still put it somewhere in turbotax?

As long as the closing Attorney did not issue you a 1099-S, there is nothing to report on your tax return.  Keep your certification just in case.

So, just to clarify, I do not need to fill out anything on turbotax saying I sold a home if I have the certification for non reporting on the sale of my residence? I just keep the certification for my records?

And what I mean by just in case- It is always good to keep tax documents for several years, particularly a sale of a house.
