I worked full time last year and my spouse went to school part time. During that time, we paid for day care for our son. Can I claim the child or dependent care credit?

I am married filing jointly. The question in Turbo Tax is "If you paid for care for your child, dependent, or disabled spouse while you worked or went to school, you may get a nice tax break.". Since it says "while you worked or went to school", I am not sure if I can say yes there if it's spouse that went to school, and not me. Please help.

Yes, you can say yes if your spouse went to school, but your spouse would've had to be enrolled as a full-time student at the school for some part of each of five calendar months during the tax year.

Please see the Instructions for Form 2441 for more information.
