I need help finding the mortgage interest on my mortgage credit certificate. Lots of amounts to choose from.

The interest amount you need from the mortgage credit certificate (MCC), should be the same amount that you have in box 1 of your 1098 mortgage form from your lender. You will also need the credit rate.
