I keep getting an unacceptable value error message when I put in charitable contribution, how do i correct?

For this year, even if you don’t itemize, you may take a charitable deduction of up to $300 for cash contributions made in 2020 to qualified organizations. If you are not itemizing, do not enter more than 300 in the field when prompted. Also, do not include any dollar signs or decimal points.
