Sometimes a Schedule C will transfer over from a previous year. So, if you did some Uber driving last year and reported it on Schedule C, this year when you start, you will see that Schedule C pre-populated with your basic business info. You can remove the Schedule C if it doesn't apply to this year. But that doesn't sound like what happened here considering you say you have never done any ridesharing. You can use this link to remove a Schedule C. It works whether it was transferred in from last year or erroneously started this year.
Did you enter any 1099 income this year as that could have generated the Schedule C? In that case you don't want to delete the Schedule C - instead, update it to reflect the correct description of the work you did to get the 1099.
