I have an hsa i use to pay medical expenses. how do i record medical expenses i paid with my own money and not the hsa?

Once you enter your HSA information, please visit Deductions & Credits section.  The medical expenses that you paid with your own money can actually be deducted as medical expenses in the Deductions & Credits section.  

1. Federal Taxes
2. Deductions and Credits
3. Scroll down to Medical, select Medical Expenses - follow the prompts and enter any medical expenses that were not covered by HSA funds.
