I have a mobile DJ company, I store the trailer with my equipment in my garage. Can I write off the portion of my garage used to store my trailer?

My trailer/Shelving takes up roughly 1/2 my 2 car garage.  Can I add the sq ft. of the garage to my total living area and deduct it?

Yes, if you are regularly using this portion of your garage to store your trailer then you can claim it for storage.

Yes, you will add the garage area as additional square footage to your home.
