I have a business related bad debt 1099C that expenses were not deducted previously. How is this entered as a business income and then deduct the expenses.

This can be added as other business income while you are preparing the business income.  Then you can add any necessary business expenses.  Select Business Income after you select Edit beside your business.

TurboTax online version:

1. Sign into your account and select your current return.

2. Select  My Account on the top right and then select Tools

3. Select Topic Search (see attached image)

4. Search for business and select Go

5. Select Edit or Start your business preparation.

TurboTax desktop version:

1. Search box in the upper right

2. Search for business, schedule c

3. Jump to business. schedule c (see image attached)

4. Continue to Edit or Start your business preparation. Review the images attached.
