I had self-only hsa account. In 2018 I change to family hdhp. Can I deposit the family contribution to my existing self-only hsa? Or I need to open a family hsa account?

the self-only hsa account was opened in 2017 when I had the self-only hdhp coverage.  Now I am in family hdhp coverage and is eligible for family contribution.  Can I use the existing HSA account?

Yes, you can use the same HSA.  An HSA is not self-only or family, it's simply an HSA.  It's the contribution limit that depends on the type of coverage.
