I dont live in Lake county but its asking about property in lake county

When I am reviewing tax breaks, it asks if i paid property taxes on my home in lake county. I dont live in lake county and I never have. Why would it ask this?

That is a question that comes up for any taxpayer just in case you have a property is located in Lake County, Indiana.

If it does not apply to you, simply choose No.  If it does apply to you, choose Yes and enter the information needed for the Lake County residential income tax credit.
