I donated a car to the make a wish foundation, how do I enter that into the system?

Donating a car goes in the Deductions and Credits of your TurboTax return.

1. Go to Federal

2.  Select Deductions and Credits (make sure you view ALL Deductions and Credits)

3.  Choose Charitable Donations

4.  Select Donations to Charity in 2017

5.  Answer Yes that you want to enter your donations

6.  On the next page list Make a Wish Foundation and Add Items (cars will be in examples)

7.  From here you can enter the information on the Car you donated with a series of questions.

There will be an opportunity to enter the information in the 1098-C received from the Make A Wish Foundation.
