I cannot find my "Property tax" or "Real Estate tax" on my 1098's. In box 10 it states "Property Taxes Paid: $0.00, but I think I pay them through my mortgage payment.
Because it says that, or it is blank, does that mean I didn't pay any? I'm not sure that is correct.

When you pay a portion of your mortgage payment for taxes, your lender puts that part of your payment into an escrow account. You can't claim that as a tax payment until your lender actually pays the tax bill. They will show that payment on your Form 1098. So it your 1098 shows nothing paid then your lender didn't pay it year and you can't claim it.
